Monsoon Night routine

Hello Everyone!

How are you doing?

Monsoons have heralded in mumbai finally! There is no sign of sunshine whatsoever. The weather makes me feel gloomy and disturbs my sleep pattern gravely. My skincare also takes a toll during monsoon. So here is my hassle free and effective Monsoon Night routine which will put you to sleep and you will wake up with nourished skin overall.

STEP 1- Foot care Regime

Our foot care is the most ignored part of beauty regime. They do take us places but we seldom give them some pampering.During the monsoons the dirt gets accumulated in the nooks and corners of our feet.Keeping your feet dirty leads to bad odour and fungal infections too.It is good to follow this routine once every week to keep the dirt away.So the steps which I follow for healthy feet are –

  1. Start by chopping off your nails and getting rid of the extra skin using cuticle cutters and nail buffer. You need to remove the dirt which has accumulated in your feet.Just remember not to overdo it as it might cut your skin too.
  2. Then prepare a small tub/bucket with warm water.Add some epsom bath salt to it.I have used the Organix Mantra Epsom SaltOrganix Mantra Epsom Salt
  3. Then put a few drops of lavender essential oil with the salt .Mix everything together and put your feet in it.To scrub your feet mix equal parts of epsom salt and olive oil and gently rub off the dead skin.
  4. Now moisturise your feet with a foot cream/leftover essence and let it sink into the skin .1530903889170.jpg1530902024948.jpg

STEP 2- Face Care routine

The pamper routine continues with some cleansing ,toning and moisturising. This is an essential step .During the monsoon our skin tends to collect dirt and grime. So the skin needs to replenish and get the nutrients back.

Cleansing

If you are not wearing any makeup then you can cleanse you face with a mild face wash.I use the Vedantika Herbals face wash to get rid of the gunk on my skin Just take two pumps of the face wash and gently rub it all over your face. Then wash off using water.Lemongrass is an essential ingredient for healing the skin and giving it a natural glow.

Toning

For toner I use the vetiver hydrosol from the brand Inatur herbals.Vetiver is an amazing anti-acne ingredient. It would also calm down the redness on my face and soothe the skin.

Moisturising

I use the SNP korea Red ginseng sheet mask from Beautedotone after toning my skin.Red Ginseng is famous for its anti-ageing properties and helps in cellular regeneration. It will restore my skin and help get rid of acne scars. The leftover essence can be used as a night serum too.

The final step for a good night sleep is this magical product. It is the stress relief sleeping spray by forest essentials. It has ingredients like Lime ,lavender and peppermint oil. They work wonders and help you stay focussed and soothe your senses.
